It was back in 2001 when I started recording several things in my own haven, in my own dungeon just to ease the demons in my head and not to harm any worthless parasite out there. I was behind each demon in my head, but I couldn’t see it clearly. I was the only one who could harm my mind and create a third eye to see it clearly but that was after a couple of years later. I was left alone struggling with thoughts that only few could bare! I created a wall between myself and the outer world. I discovered a new world, a new meaning in this shitty life. I became a King in my own world, the world of Dødsferd! Some of the recordings were re-recorded later and released as songs for the first demo “Kruzifixxion of Human Disgust” and for my first album, “Desecrating the spirit of life”. Others were put exactly as they were recorded (Desecrating the spirit of life self titled track). So after 13 years of existence and 7 years after the official release of my first album, “Desecrating the spirit of life” I decided to make a re-release of it, re-mastered and with new artwork, most appropriate with the aura of the album. Also, two cover songs were included as bonus, instead of including “Kruzifixxion of human Disgust” first demo as bonus, like it was done back in 2006. Dødsferd remains an underground band. Black metal is not for everyone. Dødsferd is not for the masses. Dødsferd does not belong to any kind of scene.

The two Cover bonus Tracks were recorded live at "D studio" , in Athens, Greece, in the end of 2013.
