Deep in the darkness of my soul
I see the remnants of your world
Shuttered with branches, menaced by God
filled with distraction, ashes and mud
The fight to recover has been lost
Under conditions, failure and loss
The faces and places, all shall be gone
Serving my purpose, built a new dawn
Die with the dying
Kneel to your end
Suffer and mock yourselves
Father, none shall left
Journey to no end
Hate never ends
I do not hope to turn again
Into the tumbled graves of your Creator
Living without pleasure, over the dead
Where once they were dignified, invisible!

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74

Jordan Vauvert
